Namche Bazaar (3450m asl)
Day 10 . 12.12.22
Today was our rest day. We did however walk up to the museum to see a great view of Everest and Ama Dablam with the fine statue of Tensing Norgay Sherpa posing triumphantly in the foreground. It was a breathless climb up to the museum and we are definitely feeling the effects of the altitude now that we are nearly at 3500m asl. We said our farewells to Tec and David who are on their way to EBC. It has been a lot noisier in Namche today with the birthday of another trekking group member. I purchased some long thermal underwear, repaired my boots with superglue and changed as much money as we could to see us through. Tomorrow we begin the next leg to Gokyo.
