Masses of showy large red edible fruits every few years, principally in winter.
Young plants develop a dense and attractive pyramidal shape which becomes a spreading crown in large old trees up to 35m in height.

Hardy.

Cultivation
Makes a beautiful garden tree with quick growth.
Fruits can be sown whole with germination in 4-6 months.
