Cordyline banksii - "Electric Pink Cordyline"
Family: Asparagaceae

A popular garden hybrid grown for its pink leaves and shape.
The number of erect stems vary from one to many.
The hot pink and purple striped strap-shaped leaves grow around the stem from the tip and form a soft domed crown.
As the lower leaves die and fall off the stems are left bare accentuating the shape of leaf crown above.
In late spring and summer panicles of small creamy flowers are produced.
