Alectryon tomentosus - Hairy Alectryon

Tree to 15m.
Branchlets, petioles and leaflet undersides covered in soft brownish hairs.
Leaves alternate, compound, with 4 to 8 serrate leaflets, each to 14cm long.
Separate male and female creamy-pink flowers to 4mm, in panicles to 4cm, autumn to winter.
Finely hairy seed capsule with black seed enclosed in edible red aril.
