Acronychia oblongifolia - Common Acronychia/White Aspen

A common small tree usually not more than 12m but can reach 20m under good conditions.
Pure white fruits, often in great quantities and edible though very acidic.
The blunt-tipped or notched leaves are shiny bright green when young, ageing to a darker shade, and have many conspicuous oil dots giving it an aromatic smell.
It occurs in all types of rainforest except cool-temperate.
Cultivation
It is grown for its handsome foliage and adaptability.
It needs well-drained soil but is tolerant to sun or shade.
One of the easiest of any species of Acronychia.
The flesh should be decomposed before being washed from the tiny black seeds.
